HOW IT IS DIFFERENT FROM BETTING & GAMBLING?

Gambling can be defined as a game of chance, such as a lottery, casinos and etc. whereas betting is an act of gambled money staked on the outcome of a race, game, or other unpredictable events.

However, fantasy sports are not a form of gambling or betting because of the element of skill involved. Fantasy sports may include some luck but far more important in determining outcomes is the level of knowledge, ability, data analysis, and research that a user is able to bring to bear. Research typically requires substantial effort and is critical for helping participants to assemble a strong team that can successfully compete against other teams. As such then, fantasy sport is a game of skill and not a form of gambling or betting based on luck. For this reason, users who are highly skilled are able to win more often in various fantasy sports games than those who lack strong knowledge and skills.
